Biostat® T is an interactive software training tool and is ideal for educating students and operators on bioprocess control. It allows users to learn about bioprocess engineering, practice menu navigation and operate a bioreactor before running an actual bioreactor.

One platform, two versions

The software is available in two versions:

• a version based on CHO cultivation
• a version for yeast fermentation.

This virtual bioreactor training tool provides users with customized training based on their individual skill levels and relevant applications by simply selecting the appropriate program version.

Biostat® T CHO software features

The Biostat^® T CHO mimics the human-machine interface and functionalities of a Biostat STR^® 200 L single-use bioreactor. It is based on actual Chinese hamster ovary cell batch data and enables users to gain insights into the characteristics of a CHO cultivation. Users have to utilize the broad variety of software features to determine the optimal parameters for cell growth and antibody yield.

Biostat® T Yeast software features

The Biostat^® T Yeast will feature the cultivation of Saccharomyces cerevisiae in a 20 L stainless steel bioreactor. This version of Biostat^® T will perfectly allow beginners to familiarize with the basics of bioprocess control and menu navigation of bioreactors
