Safe-Cone Filters
Unique and replaceable polyethylene (PE) filters act as a barrier to prevent liquid from flowing to the internal components of the pipette. Standard filters are intended for general use and can be used for the same types of work for which the Plus filter is recommended, but need to be changed more often.

Plus Safe-Cone filters are intended for applications such as: radioactive work, cell culture, bacterial and virological work and molecular biology. The filter change interval depends on the application and the sample. However, according to studies, the filter should be changed daily (or after 50 to 250 pipettes) and immediately in case of excessive aspiration.
To ensure user safety, the use of tweezers is recommended to change the filter. mLINE® pipettes also have a built-in ejection filter.
