Plus Safe-Cone filters are intended for applications such as: radioactive work, cell culture, bacterial and virological work and molecular biology. The filter change interval depends on the application and the sample. However, according to studies, the filter should be changed daily (or after 50 to 250 pipettes) and immediately in case of excessive aspiration.
To ensure user safety, the use of tweezers is recommended to change the filter. mLINE® pipettes also have a built-in ejection filter.
The advantages of the Safe-Cone filter are:
The exchangeable Safe-Cone Filters, used in pipette tip cones, act as barriers to reduce the risk of contaminating the internal components of the pipette.
