Sartobind® S Chromatography Membranes - Sartorius Croatia

Sartobind® S Chromatography Membranes

Sartobind® S membrane units combine the benefits of convective media and ion-exchange chromatography for rapid and easy contaminant removal or capture of viruses and virus-like particles.

Sartobind® S membrane adsorbers have a macroporous structure with a pore size of > 3 µm. Sulfonic acid ligands are covalently attached to the entire inner surface of the membrane, resulting in a high-capacity separation medium combined with exceptionally high flow rates.

Application:

This membrane adsorber is successfully used in FDA-approved drug manufacturing for the removal of host cell proteins at high flow rates. As a cation-exchange, it not only shows the ability to remove aggregates but also typically has at least ten times greater binding capacity for viruses and virus-like particles (VLP).

Benefits:

Sartobind® S adsorber accelerates the production process with high flow rates and opens new opportunities for the purification of therapeutic proteins and vaccines.

  • High-speed host cell protein removal up to 30 layer volumes/min
  • Removal of aggregates

Easy use:

  • Plug & play devices from 0.08 ml to 5 l
  • Can be used as a filter
  • Flow rates up to 30 layer volumes/min
  • For single-use or multi-use
