Ambr® 250 High Throughput vessel

A new type of vessel has been developed to support 'microcarriers' and other cultures that require specialized mixing capabilities.

The vessel has a single 'elephant ear' rotor which is larger than the standard 'slanted blade' rotor. The vessel configuration minimizes shear stress and performs radial mixing of cultures at lower mixing speeds while maintaining cell functionality and other aspects of quality. The container is suitable for:

• process development and optimization
• applications of carrier-based mammalian cell culture
• other cultures that require special mixing at a lower impeller speed
