Sartorius has added one additional digit to its serial number system for products from the laboratory and bioprocess departments. The current structure of the number system follows a defined logic and ensures complete traceability of the production process and the raw materials used for production. The change in the number of digits of the serial number of the product to which the change applies will take place on November 1, 2020. During the initial implementation phase of this change it may happen that you receive products labeled with the unchanged batch number structure as well as products labeled with the adjusted batch number structure.
