CMM HyperCel resin consists of a rigid cellulose matrix with flow properties compatible with the needs of large-scale protein production. The proprietary ligand, containing both a primary amino and a carboxyl group, provides the chromatographic resin with cation exchange and hydrophobic properties. The ligand’s flexibility allows the separation of proteins with a wide range of isoelectric points and hydrophobicity levels, making it possible to use multiple conditions for isolating target molecules from contaminants.
