Blue Trisacryl® M | Affinity Chromatography Resins

Blue Trisacryl® M is an affinity resin used for the purification of enzymes, interferons, and certain coagulation factors, as well as for albumin removal. The resin is based on a trisacrylic matrix carrying a blue dye ligand.
Price: On request

Blue Trisacryl® M dye-affinity chromatography resin is used for the purification of a wide range of enzymes and proteins such as kinases, interferons, and certain coagulation factors. It is also applied for albumin purification or reduction in samples for proteomics research.

The Blue Trisacryl® M resin is based on Trisacryl, a macroporous non-ionic synthetic polymer with covalently immobilized blue dye. The blue dye interacts biospecifically with certain proteins due to its structural similarity to nucleotide cofactors (ADP, NADP). Other proteins, such as albumin or interferons, bind through a combination of hydrophobic, electrostatic, and π-π interactions.

Features & Benefits:

  • Unique multimodal interaction mechanism
  • Low ligand leakage
  • Versatile applications from laboratory to production scale

Applications:

  • Enzymes requiring NAD as a cofactor (kinases, dehydrogenases, phosphatases)
  • Other enzymes (sulfatases, RNA polymerases, monooxygenases, oxidoreductases)
  • Plasma albumin
  • Plasma transferrin
  • α1-acid glycoprotein, α-fetoprotein, α1-proteinase inhibitor
  • Serine proteases
  • Interferons
  • DNA antibodies
  • Recombinant vaccine purification processes
