Sartoflow® Expert SU system

Sartoflow^® Expert SU is a flexible, fully automated single-use TFF system designed for process development through pilot production of monoclonal antibodies (mAbs), vaccines, viral vectors, pDNA, highly viscous products, and bioconjugates such as ADCs. Thanks to its innovative design, it can be configured to combine up to three steps on a single skid – mixing, 0.2 µm filtration, and ultrafiltration/diafiltration. This robust, fully closed single-loop system ensures operator safety and product integrity.

Cutting-edge filtration technology

The base unit includes state-of-the-art technology for ultrafiltration and diafiltration steps, including:

• Filter holder for single-use units: 0.14, 0.28, 0.42, 1.4 m²
• Recirculation pump and vessel
• Two peristaltic pumps for product and buffer addition
• Pressure, flow, and conductivity sensors
• Automatic pneumatic pinch valves
• Automatic diaphragm valves in retentate (TMP control) and permeate lines
• Two external scale connections

The base TFF unit can be extended with additional modules or a full extension package, such as a second mixing vessel (e.g., for bioconjugation) and other advanced features to fully leverage the system’s capabilities.
